Dear AMPSOS Backers,
We’re excited to share that the BackerKit survey has now been sent to all backers.
Some supporters have mentioned earlier that they did not receive the survey — this was completely normal, because BackerKit requires every project to run a Smoke Test first, where the system automatically and randomly selects a small group of backers (we had 27) to receive the survey for testing.
Only after confirming that everything worked correctly was BackerKit able to send the survey to everyone.
Now the full rollout is complete — all backers should have received their surveys.

🛒 Backer-Only Add-On Pricing
We’ve opened the add-on section on BackerKit with exclusive, backer-only pricing — a sincere thank-you for your support.
This special pricing is only available to KS backers and is not offered publicly anywhere else.
Backers who didn’t have the chance to purchase add-ons during KS can now get them at a preferred backer rate.
Backers who previously purchased certain accessories during KS will see even lower returning-supporter prices when adding the same accessory again.
All of these are internal thank-you prices, far below our future retail pricing.

During the KS campaign, we promised to provide a band-to-band refund credit based on final shipping and cost outcomes.
We are still finalizing these calculations, but please rest assured — all credits will be issued directly to your BackerKit account, and you do not need to worry.
If possible, please go ahead and complete your survey and pay the shipping first, as this helps us lock orders and keep everything on schedule.
Once your credit amount is finalized, we will issue it as a refund back to your original payment method.

Important: BackerKit Shipping Survey Required for Delivery

Thank you for your continued support of AMPSOS.
This update contains important information about the @BackerKit BackerKit shipping survey, which is required to proceed with fulfillment.
We understand that some of you prefer not to receive repeated surveys, so we want to clarify:
This BackerKit survey is not a questionnaire.
It is used exclusively for logistics purposes, including:
Confirming your final shipping address
(Several backers notified us that their address submitted in the Kickstarter survey was incorrect. To avoid any issues, the address submitted in BackerKit will be treated as the final and official delivery address.)
Collecting shipping fees based on your destination
(We cover all international freight and customs duties. The fee you pay represents only the approximate cost of local domestic delivery in your region.)
Your completion of this survey will ensure its accuracy and timely delivery.
📦 Fulfillment & Shipping Arrangement
We have organized delivery through regional consolidation points to streamline logistics:
United States / Canada / Mexico → fulfilled from San Diego, California
Australia / New Zealand → shipped directly
Europe → fulfilled from Bremen, Germany
All other regions → shipped via direct international postal channels
These arrangements allow us to cover all international shipping and customs costs, so backers pay only the equivalent of local domestic shipping charges.
💳 Regarding Credits Handling
For backers who have remaining credits, BackerKit will apply them automatically whenever possible.
If the system does not apply the credit at checkout, you may complete the payment first; we will then issue a refund for the unused credit back to your original payment method.
🚚 Production & Shipping Status
Our first batch of units has already been dispatched to the United States and is currently en route to San Diego.
After customs clearance, UPS tracking information will appear (before customs clearance, ups will not show the details of shipping status)and update automatically.
Parcels are expected to arrive at the San Diego facility around early next week, followed by sorting and regional distribution.
Production of the 140W GaN Fast Charger is progressing, with completion expected in early December. Orders containing this component may experience a slight delay in dispatch.
We will ship each order as soon as the corresponding items become available.

Many backers expressed interest in purchasing additional items after the Kickstarter campaign ended.
All add-on options are now available in BackerKit:

Dear Backers,
We’re thrilled to share the latest AMPSOS Power Hubank production and shipping progress! Thank you so much for your patience and incredible support throughout this journey. 💚
🔋 AMPSOS Power Hub:
100 units have already been handed over to our freight forwarder and are scheduled for the November 12th flight to the U.S. ✈️
Around 800 units are completing final assembly and testing, with an expected ship date of around November 14th (The typical aging test duration is around 24 hours.).
Another 20+ units are currently in the aging test stage (expected by November 16th).
☀️ 36W Solar Panel (Total: 547 units)
Production is running smoothly and on schedule.
Estimated completion: before November 30th.
⚡ 140W Fast Charger (Total: 300 units)
Production is slightly delayed but catching up fast.
Expected delivery: early December (by around November 30th).
🔌 100W C-to-C Cable (2m) (Total: 200 units)
In stock and ready for shipment.

We launched in the summer, and now we’re crossing the finish line in the autumn (even daylight saving time shaved an hour off the countdown!). Through every twist and turn, you stayed with us—thank you for making our first-ever campaign such a meaningful journey. We’re energized and confident about what comes next. 🙏⚡
What’s next
Fulfillment: We’ll ship as soon as possible (starting in November), balancing speed, reliability, and value so your AMPSOS arrives swiftly and safely.
Survey: Right after the campaign ends, please complete the Survey as soon as possible (address, plug type, and a few quick confirmations) so we can lock logistics.
🪪 3C certification (for Mainland China users)
Units shipping this year (before year-end) will not carry the CCC/3C mark.
The 3C version is expected around January next year.
In the Survey, please choose one:
Ship mine ASAP (no 3C)
Wait for the 3C version (ETA January)
Receive now & request a swap later (for true 3C needs only; return shipping may apply)
If you’re outside Mainland China, you don’t need 3C—the product works the same.
🎯 Band-to-band reward (simple)
With total funds at ~$63K, the maximum deduction is $6; your actual deduction will be decoded by the band you pledged in and applied during shipping-fee settlement. We’ll message you with your exact amount. 💌
✈️ Shipping fees
Calculated after addresses are collected, we’ll select the most efficient carrier for each region. Please fill out the Survey accurately to avoid delays.
🎁 Late Pledge
Our Late Pledge store will stay open briefly. To protect KS backers’ best price, Late Pledge will be slightly higher.
If an existing KS backer refers a new supporter, we’ll honor the original KS price at final checkout as a thank-you. 💚
